There are numerous ways for you to "plug in" at WILLOWWOOD Church! If you would like to get involved, simply show up and take part! The following is a partial list of the ongoing ministries of WILLOWWOOD Church. Feel free to contact the church office or talk with the ministry leader for more information!
The mission of Sunday School & Discipleship Ministries International (SDMI) is to carry out the Great Commission to children, youth, and adults in preparation for a lifetime of being and making Christlike disciples in the nations.
The Church of the Nazarene supports the right of women to use their God-given spiritual gifts within the church and affirms the historic right of women to be elected and appointed to places of leadership. These include the offices of both elder and deacon.
At WILLOWWOOD Church, our ladies have hosted Mother/Daughter events, gone on social outings, held crafting classes, listened to guest speakers, attended Women of Worth Conferences, plus other events.
Christian education is that ministry of the Church by which it seeks to communicate its faith and nurture Christlike disciples. In the Church of the Nazarene, the ministry of Christian Education is expressed through local church Bible studies and Nazarene higher education, including clergy education.
Our Spanish congregation, Familia de Naciones, meets Sunday afternoons at 3:00 pm for all-Spanish speaking services. Their band leads a lively, upbeat worship time followed by the preaching of God's Word.
Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to join Nazarene Youth International. We are also active with District, Regional, and National NYI events.
The mission of the Abundant Life Food Pantry is to assist and provide supplemental food to individuals and families within the surrounding communities that have been impacted by financial difficulties. Food distribution is held on the third Saturday of each month from 10-11:30 a.m. Everyone is welcome to attend and receive this blessing!
